INFORMATION OF THE TRADE UNION COMMITTEE
Dear colleagues, we are glad to inform you that full-time employees, students, and full-time postgraduates can become members of Kharkiv Regional Education and Science Employees Union of Ukraine.
Members of the organisation are protected against many possible troubles when solving a labour dispute. They possess the following rights:
- To get a charge-free legal assistance in trade union;
- To get financial assistance from the organisation;
- To get health care for children under 14 with considerable discounts;
- To issue international student identity card (ISIC) or ticket for teachers/professors (ITIC) with considerable discounts;
- To get a charge-free assistance at issuing one’s retirement benefit or compensation payment.
They also have all rights and obligations determined by the organisation’s Regulation.
To become a full-fledged member of one of the largest trade unions – Education and Science Employees Union one has to do the following:
To write an application addressed to the Head of the trade union, as well as to the account department of KSADA;
To fill in a registration card;
Those who have children under 14 have to provide the child’s birth certificate.
