The Department of Visual Practices created on the basis of the Hudpromloft art space (founded in 2015, KDADM) is new and contemporary. Officially it was established in 2016. Relevant contemporary art creates opportunities for the development of the artist and the artist trainee of various fields of audiovisual and plastic arts.

Students who are able to synthesize different types of audiovisual and plastic arts may develop (originate) their own creative concept of an artistic object. This will make it possible to enter the contemporary relevant artistic environment. During the study thanks to the communication and cooperation with artists, art critics and students of Ukrainian and foreign universities our students learn to create and present their artistic projects.

PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYMENT FIELDS

After graduation from the Department of Multimedia Design graduates can work in the following areas:

Creation of art projects and work in contemporary gallery and art-design space;
Media communication and media art;
As a curator of contemporary and plastic arts;
In various fields of contemporary and plastic arts (having experience of work and participation in international projects and contests during the educational process).

CURRICULUM: MAJOR SKILLS

Drawing (actual drawing on the basis of traditions and creation of individual shapes);
Painting (traditional and contemporary individual concept);
Media, video art;
Composition and artistic design (basics of composition and shaping, art design, comics, representation of land art, street art, mural art, art object, installation);
Work in the material (work with contemporary materials, work with metal, wood, gypsum, etc.);
Visual communication;
Screen art;
Curator activity.
